What is Dutch Photographers Day?
On Friday, November 6, Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam will be all about photography. During the fifth edition of Dutch Photographers Day, organised by DuPho, photographers, visual artists and other creatives will come together for a day full of inspiration, knowledge and new connections.
From engaging talks and workshops to portfolio reviews and conversations with fellow professionals. Whether you’re just starting out as a photographer or have been behind the lens for years, this is the place to discover fresh ideas, expand your network and grow as a creative professional.

In conversation with photographer and SO’26 winner Lotte Bruning
How do you build a successful creative career as a photographer? And how do you balance artistic ambitions with the business side of being an entrepreneur?
During Dutch Photographers Day, we’ll be sitting down for a live interview with Lotte Bruning, winner of SO’26 and a client of Kees de Boekhouder. Lotte works at the intersection of photography and fine art, combining images with different materials, textures and techniques.
We’ll dive into her creative process, her journey as a photographer and, of course, the business side of her work. How do you put a price on your creativity? What challenges do you face as an independent artist? And what does she wish she’d known earlier about running her own business?
